SCULPTOR AND FOUNDER OF THE NICOLE DESCHÊNES DUVAL STUDIO-GALLERY

Born in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, Nicole discovered direct carving at the Saint-Jean-Port-Joli sculpture school. Founded by the Bourgault brothers in 1940, this school has made the village internationally renowned. Nicole studied there for 2 years.

Passionate and perfectionist, the artist never stops refining her technique and style.

His works are a hymn to life. Sculptor specialized in the representation of children and adolescents, she creates unique pieces in wood, reproductions in bronze and hydrostone (stone dust).

The artist is also known for his love of working in front of an audience and sharing his knowledge. She has been managing the company L'Atelier-Galerie Nicole Deschênes Duval for 50 years.
