Let's spin, felt and knit alpaca wool

Rich in knowledge and discoveries, Felutrons-Filons-Tricotons l'alpaga takes place on the wooded site of the Maison de l'Ermitage, a vast ancestral residence that offers a sublime view of the river and is located a few minutes walk from the heart of the village. Possibility to sleep in the gîte of the Maison de l'Ermitage.

Day 1 - 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

-Introduction of the participants 
-Visit of alpacas in their living environment
-Discover the fibre in all its aspects
-Discovery of the different qualities of the fibre of each animal: Victor, Lancelot, Mingo, Zolo, Price, Subban, Santana, Replica, Leilanie and Luciole
-CARDING wool with Amélie Bourgault and France Trudel
-FEUTRAGE, outdoor with France Trudel and creation in silk and alpaca wool

DINNER

From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

-Introduction to FILAGE with Amélie Bourgault and France TrudeL
-TRICOTAGE with Thérèse Lachance and Chantal Morin.
-Installation of the knitwear at the felted creation and finishing of the current project. 

From 4 pm to 5 pm 

Presentation and conclusion

What you will have left, according to your workshop  

-A magnificent, muffled creation 
-Hand-cut wooden knitting pins
-Dreams full of ideas!

The creative provides 

Everything you need, animals, wool, silk scarves, cleaning trays, mesh for drying, felting tools, carding mill, wheels, knitting spindles.
